Essential Job Functions:

  •  Collaborates with nursing center Business Office Managers to ensure compliance with established best practice organizational process standards and quality results.
  • Review, evaluate, and analyze with the Director of Revenue Cycle Management the accounts receivable and collections functions with in his or her assigned region
  • Act as a liaison between Corporate, Admissions, Business Office, Administration, and facilities on assigned AR matters
  • Review and monitor the AR process to ensure the management and coordination of a fully integrated collections process and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Assists in the orientation and training of new Business Office Managers.
  • On a temporary basis fulfill the responsibilities of a Business Office Manager in facilities experiencing a vacancy.
  • Ensure all practices and processes adhere to local, state, and federal regulations

 

Qualifications:

  •  A high school degree with a minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in nursing home business office setting.
  •  Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  •  Proficient in MS Office suite
  •  Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
  •  Strong interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English effectively and communicate written and verbally.
  • Performs all job responsibilities in accordance with safety and infection control policies and procedures.
