Service Sales Manager, Plumbing & HVAC

Salary:  $60k - $65k (DOE), plus benefits

Schedule:  Mon-Fri, 7a-3:30p

Location:  Pittsfield, MA

Job Description:

Our Client is looking to hire a Service Sales Manager for their plumbing and HVAC company.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying potential customers, understating their requirements, and recommending Pittsfield Pipers, Inc for service. This includes everything from prospecting and lead generation to negotiations and closing deals. Technical knowledge and sales skills will be vital in ensuring customer satisfaction and driving business growth.  

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain frequent clear and effective communication with internal team and external customers.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets.
  • Continually enhance sales skills and product knowledge in order to promote a professional image in the field
  • Obtain manufacturers’ certifications required to perform job function, as applicable
  • Execute all company processes and complete all required paperwork in a timely manner
  • Generate leads and cultivate relationships with potential clients through various channels, including referrals, cold calling, and networking.
  • Perform site assessments and interact with customers to understand their service needs
  • Serve as the leader of the sales process to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Establish customer rapport with products and services.
  • Form accurate and complete sales proposals
  • Communicate scheduling and material needs through appropriate channels.
  • Meet all Deadlines
  • Work Closely with Project Manager to Ensure that job gets completed on time, under budget, and communicate barriers (if any).
  • Perform other related duties as required or assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Experience within the industry/ sales, leadership experience is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced multi-task environment.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
