Opening Details

Call-in waitstaff and bartenders are needed for assignments and special events in Dining Services. Working under the supervision of the Assistant Director/Director of Catering and Dining Services Managers, waitstaff will be required to pass hors d'oeuvres, have knowledge of proper place settings, service of dinner as well as wine and clearing tables. Bartenders will need prior bartending experience and be able to lift up to 40 pounds. Variable work schedules include day, evening, weekend and holiday hours based on department needs.

Hourly Rate

Bartender = $19/hr
Waitstaff = $18/hr

Review of resumes will begin immediately, and continue until the position is filled.

Qualifications
  • Applicants should be enthusiastic, energetic and possess strong customer service skills.
  • Knowledge and ability to serve guests with the highest level of professional service is required.
  • Applicants must be able to work independently, stand for prolonged periods of time, and handle heavy material involving lifting and bending and complete duties as assigned.
  • The ability to relate to customers and staff in a professional manner is essential. Prior food service experience is preferred.
