The Director of Learning and Employee Development is responsible for identifying the educational needs of others and developing formal educational or training programs or classes.  Oversight of LMS system, and liaison with the Quality Compliance department to ensure all training complies with licensing and accreditation requirements.  Analyze information internally and externally while evaluating results to advise on or choose the best solutions and solve problems

Bachelor's Degree and 2-year experience, required.  A high school diploma or GED and 5 years of related experience may be substituted.  Must be customer service oriented, extremely organized, and detail-oriented with the ability to successfully multitask.  Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, and coordination of people and resources.  Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods. This includes alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media.  Ability to complete all initial and ongoing background checks including but not limited to: CORI, SORI, Fingerprinting, LEIE, Driving record, E-verify, Physical, PPD, and licensing and/or certification checks (i.e., nursing).  Valid US driver’s license and ready access to a vehicle.
