POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for day to day operations within the HR department. Including but not limited to processing of all personnel changes, staff training system, oversight of all benefit programs, leave administration, unemployment claims, learning management system and oversight of HRIS system. The Generalist will compile all data needed, ensure timely filings for government compliance in conjunction with the SVP, HR. This position is responsible for all personnel records and retention, oversight of PTO and payouts.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree and 1 year administrative experience, preferably in Human Resources required. A high school diploma or GED and 5 years’ of related experience may be substituted. Must be customer service oriented, extremely organized, detail oriented with the ability to successfully multitask. Ability to complete all initial and ongoing background checks including but not limited to: CORI, SORI, Fingerprinting, LEIE, Driving record, E-verify, Physical, PPD and licensing and/or certification checks (i.e. nursing). Valid US driver’s license and ready access to a vehicle.
