Join us as a Lift Attendant at beautiful Berkshire East!

Monitors loading and unloading of guests and related equipment on chair and ground carpet lifts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitors loading and unloading of guests and related equipment on chair and ground carpet lifts.
-Start up and shut off lift as instructed by manager.
-Provide guests with basic instruction on loading and unloading.
-Familiarize guests with the safety equipment used on the lift.
-Observe and assist guests if they have difficulties using the lift.
-Ensure that guests are using lifts properly and safely.
-Check lift ticket or season pass ensuring it's current and valid.
-Load and unload gear (i.e. racing fences, coolers, mountain bikes).
-Enforce age or ability restrictions when loading the lifts.
-Maintain loading and unloading ramps at required specifications.
-Hold snow tubes while guests load and instruct on lanes & carpet lift.
-Set up fencing and lanes in loading area or tubing areas.
-Complete daily lift logs or other required paperwork.
-Report lift related accidents or injuries to manager immediately.
-Report malfunction or other lift issues to maintenance immediately.
-Assist maintenance with trouble shooting when requested.
-Complete tramway incident reports as required.
-Perform other tasks as assigned by manager.

Minimum Qualifications: (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):
Skilled in providing outstanding customer service.
Must follow company procedures for maintaining a safe workplace.
Must pay attention to detail and have an extreme dedication to safety.
Must pass lift operator training session prior to working at lifts.
Must have a friendly and fun disposition and connect with guests.
Communicate clearly using 2 way radios.

Physical Demands:
-Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
-Must be able to stand, bend, climb, lift, reach, and pull repetitively.
-Must be mentally attentive and focused at all times.
-Must be comfortable working outside in all weather conditions.
