Job Summary

The Performance Improvement Program Manager oversees, develops, and enhances organization wide systems for quality outcomes and performance improvement,and will work collaboratively with patient safety, regulatory compliance, quality outcomes and infection prevention.

Schedule:

  • Hours:  8 am -4:30 pm
  • Monday-Friday

Experience

  • Three years of experience in a hospital patient accounting environment as a Supervisor, Training Coordinator.
  • Four years of experience in a billing office environment or demonstrated experience as a Training Coordinator or Supervisor in a business office setting.
  • Extensive experience with Meditech, Allscripts, PayerPath, SSI, Rycan, FISS, Microsoft Excel (use of spreadsheets) and Microsoft Word.
  • Working knowledge of third-party billing.

Education

  • Associate degree in a business discipline.

  • Must be organized, analytical and possess proven leadership skills.
  • Must possess the ability to handle stressful situations calmly and rationally and work under deadline pressures.
  • Must be willing to accept additional responsibilities/duties as position requires.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work with a lot of autonomy, possessing skills in problem solving and decision making.
  • Ability to troubleshoot/maintain proper operation of business equipment preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, and interpersonal relationship skills are required.
