Berkshire Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Manager for our Cardiac Neuro Team!

  • 32 hours a week
  • Shift 2: 3p-11:30

Duties include: Provides supervision of the daily operations on the assigned units. Acts on behalf of the organization, providing supervision for staff members. Participates in the hiring process and disciplinary action as necessary. Demonstrates knowledge of and assures compliance with accrediting/regulatory agency standards, hospital and departmental policies and procedures and customer service standards.

  • POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)
    • Experience:
      • Three years of unit specific experience required.
      • Teaching experience preferred.
      • Leadership experience required.
      • Experience with electronic medical record and clinical documentation systems required.
    • Education and Training:
      • RN required.
      • BSN required, MSN preferred.
      • Knowledge of software applications (Outlook, Microsoft) required.
    • License, Certification & Registration:
      • RN License - Currently licensed as an RN in Massachusetts.
    • Other Requirements:
      • Maintain professionalism and act as role model.
      • Demonstrates leadership and communicates a strong work ethic and commitment toward service excellence.
      • Excellent interpersonal skills; communicates effectively with patients, family members, physicians, senior leadership and staff.
      • Well organized and able to prioritize a variety of complex assignments simultaneously. Meets deadlines in a timely manner.
      • Demonstrates understanding of local, state and federal regulating agencies (DCF, DPH, TJC).
      • Demonstrates dependability and transparency.
      • Documented effectiveness in confronting problems and resolving conflict.
    • Other Addendum(s) Requirements:
      • A national certification preferred.
