We’re looking for detail-oriented, analytical people who thrive on tracking down answers to join our team as Healthy Building Materials Specialists. Our Specialists search online, scour documents, call manufacturers, and email companies to gather information about building products and evaluate them against the Living Building Challenge standard, a holistic sustainable building certification. Specialists receive training on the Living Building Challenge standard, as well as using our Red2Green database and project management software to record information on building materials.

  • Hours: Average 20 hours/week with opportunities for expanded hours as available
  • Experience: Training provided
  • Salary: $20.00/hour to start with opportunities for advancement
  • Location: North Adams, MA

Responsibilities

  • Research building products against the Living Building Challenge standard
  • Call and email manufacturers for information
  • Balance a workload of building product research with varied priorities and deadlines
