Elizabeth Freeman Center, Inc. seeks a passionate and experienced Clinical Supervisor to ensure staff are supported and clients receive exceptional, holistic, accessible, confidential, trauma-informed counseling and advocacy!
Responsibilities include:
- Assist to ensure all direct-service staff meet the DPH standard of required supervision (1 hour for every 20 hours of direct client contact)
- Provide regular clinical supervision and support for counselor/advocates, staff, volunteers, and master’s level interns
- Ensure supervisees maintain appropriate case management and deliver services within the perimeters of our work
- Monitor record keeping and compliance with confidentiality requirements
- Assist to ensure client needs, agency standards, and funding requirements are met
- Provide support to staff with urgent needs relating to emergency interventions, including suicide risks assessments, mandated reporting consultations and assistance with de-escalation, in a timely manner
- Facilitate a weekly support group for survivors
- Maintain and cultivate relationships with clinical and community service providers for warm referrals and coordination of treatment and services
- Assist with the training of new staff, volunteer and interns and in the implementation of staff development programming
- Assist to monitor, support, and help sustain the emotional health of the agency
- Collaborate with other supervisors and senior management team to assess services provided, identify areas of improvement, and adapt to evolving community needs
- Serve as the on-call supervisor on a rotating basis to provide evening and weekend support
- Respond to the emergency room, police station, court and other venues when necessary
- Attend meetings and trainings, attend programmatic and clinical supervision, maintain professional boundaries with individuals receiving EFC services, maintain excellent records in agency database, and adhere to strict guidelines to ensure client confidentiality
- Complete all other duties to ensure that EFC clients are safe and are provided with exceptional, holistic, accessible, trauma-informed, and empathetic services within the context of the agency’s mission and consistent with grant requirements
Work Hours: This position can be full-time or part-time

This position begins at $30 per hour plus year-end bonus dependent on funding. Additional increments given for other frequently used languages, special skills and education.
