Gabriel Abbott Memorial School is looking for an outstanding Pre-K Educator to teach in our 3 and 4 year old inclusive Pre-Kindergarten for our 2024-2025 school year. The person in this position is responsible for creating a flexible program and learning environment that provides developmentally appropriate instruction, aligned with MA Standards, for all students.
Qualifications:
* Appropriate DESE licensure.
* Ability to design and deliver well planned, effective lessons to all students in an inclusive setting.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to direct paraprofessionals in classroom.
* At least three years experience preferred.
* Performs related work as required.
Welcome to Gabriel Abbott Memorial School! We offer classes from Preschool to Grade 8. The current enrollment is approximately 90 students (class sizes are small, generally 8-15 students) and is staffed by ten full time teachers, nurse, four specialists, (art, music, STEAM, P.E.), seven aides, adjustment counselor, reading specialist, and related service providers.
