Senior / Staff Accountant – Injection Molding Manufacturer

Location: Pittsfield, MA
Salary: $65,000–$75,000 (depending on experience)

Are you an analytical, detail-driven accounting professional looking to grow your career with a stable, privately held manufacturing company? Our client, a respected injection molding manufacturer, is seeking a Senior or Staff Accountant to join their financial team and play a key role in supporting daily operations and long-term financial success.

What You’ll Do

Reporting to the Controller, you will be a critical part of the finance department, working hands-on across the full accounting cycle. Responsibilities include:

  • Performing weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting tasks

  • Preparing weekly Accounts Payable

  • Conducting account reconciliations and ensuring accuracy across financial data

  • Analyzing and communicating financial results to management

  • Coordinating and reviewing financial reports and backup documentation as needed

  • Supporting ongoing process improvements and special projects

  • Participating in periodic compensated overtime during peak cycles

What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business

  • Minimum 2 years of accounting experience preferred—manufacturing experience a plus

  • Recent graduates with strong fundamentals will also be considered

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to learn and work within accounting software and databases

  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, communication, and project-management skills

  • A hands-on mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
