Director of Quality Compliance
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: 37.5 hours/week
Job Location: Pittsfield, MA

$1,500 sign on bonus

Position Overview:
As a senior management team member, you will oversee agency-wide compliance, champion quality and integrity, and align efforts with UCP's mission to advance independence and inclusion for individuals with disabilities. You will lead compliance systems, risk assessments, human rights initiatives, and Positive Behavior Supports while managing data, reporting, and protecting sensitive information.

Director of Quality Compliance Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and ensure regulatory compliance with licensing standards, certifications, and laws such as HIPAA, Massachusetts Data Privacy Law, and Council on Accreditation.
  • Act as the primary quality liaison between the organization, regulatory bodies, funders, and external stakeholders.
  • Lead the implementation of the Positive Behavior Supports (PBS) framework across the agency.
  • Provide leadership and advice on protection, advocacy, and Human Rights issues within the organization.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate agency-wide systems for compliance and continuous quality improvement.
  • Lead the creation and management of performance standards, including department KPIs, and oversee the Risk Management Committee.
  • Provide technical assistance and advocate for improvements in policies, processes, and procedures to enhance quality.
  • Oversee data management, including EHRs, HCSIS, and satisfaction surveys, ensuring accurate reporting and analysis for senior management.
  • Research and implement innovative tools and processes to measure client and family satisfaction.
  • Communicate quality standards to staff and conduct relevant training and presentations as needed.

Director of Quality Compliance Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field such as Business Administration, Health Administration preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years quality management, compliance, or other related experience
  • Proficient MS Office Word, PowerPoint, and Forms, intermediate to advanced Excel with ability to learn new systems and software
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed
  • Valid driver’s license, availability of private vehicle, up-to-date car insurance
  • Ability to satisfactorily complete all initial and ongoing background checks including CORI, SORI, DPPC, OIG, driving record and National Fingerprint Background Check
