EXPERIENCE:
Two plus (2+) years in the automotive industry working on mechanical and electrical systems.
EDUCATION:
· High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
· Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is a plus.
CERTIFICATIONS:
· ASE certification preferred. Preferred qualifications: L2 or A6-A7 or E1-E3 or T6-T7.
· Valid Driver’s License
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
· Advanced knowledge of 12-volt electrical systems
· Knowledge of hydraulic systems and their components.
· Knowledgeable in air conditioning, suspension, and other mechanical systems.
· Ability to follow established procedures and practices and read instruction, blueprints etc.
· Ability to work independently in the absence of supervision
· Aptitude in using various hand tools and precision measurement tools
· Strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines
· Basic math skills
· Strong attention to detail
· Good communication skills
· Problem-solving ability
· Pride in quality workmanship
· Ability to tackle new challenges
· Must have a 'Can-Do' attitude
· Knowledge of Ford vehicles a plus
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to pass physical exam

· Must be able to climb into, onto and under vehicle
· Extended periods of sitting, standing, bending, squatting, and kneeling
