Temporary Accounting Assistant- Pittsfield 

Pay Range:
$20.00 – $25.00 per hour, based on experience

Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Assignment Type:
Temporary assignment through the end of July, with the possibility of extension or permanent hire for the right candidate.

Position Overview

Our Client is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Temporary Accounting Assistant to support their accounting department during a busy period. This role will focus heavily on invoicing, data entry, and spreadsheet management, while assisting with day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, comfortable working with numbers, and has strong Excel skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and manage invoicing activities accurately and timely
  • Perform data entry and maintain accounting records
  • Create, update, and manage spreadsheets in Excel
  • Assist with general accounting and administrative support tasks
  • Maintain organized electronic and paper records
  • Work within company software systems including Syteline and Odoo (training provided)
Qualifications
  • Prior accounting, bookkeeping, invoicing, or office support experience preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills required
  • Accurate data entry and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience with ERP/accounting systems is helpful but not required
Additional Information

Training will be provided on company systems including Syteline and Odoo.
