AUTO BODY / COLLISION TECHNICIAN T&M Auto Sales & Service — North Adams, MA $2,000 SIGN-ON BONUS Looking for more than the same body-shop work every day? T&M Auto Sales & Service is growing, and we’re looking to add 1–2 skilled Auto Body / Collision Technicians to our team. Automotive collision and body repair is our everyday business, so professional automotive body repair experience is required. However, we’re more interested in what you can do than how many years you’ve been doing it. We’re looking for technicians who take pride in their work, can work independently, solve problems, and want to be part of a shop where quality craftsmanship matters. THIS IS NOT YOUR TYPICAL BODY SHOP Cars may be our everyday business, but they’re definitely not all we work on. Over the years, projects through our shop have included airplanes, artwork, submarine components, specialty vehicles, and all kinds of unusual one-off projects. If you enjoy fixing things, building things, fabricating, problem-solving, and figuring out how to tackle something different, you’ll fit right in. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Automotive collision and body repair Vehicle disassembly and reassembly Light and heavy structural repair Frame straightening and measuring Welding and fabrication Identifying additional repair needs Following repair procedures and keeping jobs moving efficiently Producing high-quality work you can be proud of
Requirements:
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR; Automotive collision/body repair experience Strong hands-on repair skills Structural repair experience Welding and fabrication skills Frame-straightening experience is a plus Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability Attention to detail and pride in your workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Own tools appropriate for the position Valid driver’s license Dependable and reliable attendance Your skill, ability, and workmanship matter more to us than a specific number of years on your résumé.
