Direct Hire Opportunity
Location: Pittsfield, MA
Shift: 2nd Shift  2:45pm-11:30pm
Pay: $25-28/HR Depending on experience- $1/HR shift differential

Our Client is seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Supervisor to lead their production team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys coaching employees, improving processes, and ensuring production goals are met safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do
  • Supervise and support 2nd shift production employees.
  • Ensure production, quality, and safety goals are achieved each shift.
  • Assign and monitor daily work to maximize efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Shipping, Material Handling, and other departments to resolve production issues.
  • Train, mentor, and develop team members.
  • Monitor production schedules, equipment downtime, and scrap rates while implementing corrective actions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and recommend process enhancements.
  • Conduct employee coaching and performance evaluations.
  • Review attendance, timekeeping, and payroll information for accuracy.
  • Maintain production reports and shift documentation.
  • Promote compliance with all safety, quality, and company policies.
QualificationsRequired
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred
  • Previous manufacturing supervisory or team lead experience.
  • Plastics manufacturing experience.
  • Forklift certification (or ability to obtain).
  • Experience with continuous improvement or Lean manufacturing initiatives.
