The program coordinator will function as a case manager who will act as the primary point of contact for students, providing academic instruction, individualized case management, and seamless coordination with community partners to help students navigate pathways toward graduation and workforce readiness.

5 days per week for half days totalling 19.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with the Community and Pathways Coordinator to integrate career exploration and workforce readiness training into student curricula.
  • Case Management & Student Support:
    • Manage the student intake process, including confirming WIOA eligibility and guiding students/families through program expectations.
    • Develop and manage Individual Service Strategies (ISS) for each participant to ensure a whole-student approach.
    • Facilitate regular career journaling, goal setting, and job performance self-evaluations with students.
    • Provide or coordinate social-emotional support and connect students with internal and external counseling resources.
  • WIOA Compliance & Data Management:
    • Ensure program alignment with the 14 WIOA Youth Program Elements.
    • Maintain rigorous data collection, including attendance, course completion data, discipline reports, and job site evaluations to monitor program effectiveness.
    • Coordinate with Berkshire Training & Employment Inc. (BTE) for reporting requirements, including monthly meetings to review student performance and progress toward WIOA performance indicators.
  • Collaboration & Partnership:
    • Partner with the Community and Pathways Coordinator to manage relationships with regional partners (MassHire, BFAIR, MassAbility, etc.).
    • Connect with the school-based Building Based Team (BBT) to identify at-risk youth and maintain proactive communication with families and staff.
    • Participate in professional development and training to support continuous program improvement.
