Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Certified Occupancy Specialist Processor to join their team in their beautifully renovated downtown Pittsfield offices. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people while ensuring compliance with housing regulations and maintaining accurate records.

What You'll Do
  • Guide residents through annual and interim income recertifications
  • Calculate rent and housing assistance payments accurately
  • Prepare and process required compliance documentation
  • Maintain organized, audit-ready resident files
  • Explain eligibility requirements and answer resident questions with professionalism and empathy
  • Monitor deadlines and ensure ongoing compliance with HUD and other affordable housing program requirements
  • Prepare reports and work closely with internal staff to maintain accuracy
We're Looking For Someone Who:
  • Has strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Enjoys providing excellent customer service
  • Communicates clearly, both verbally and in writing
  • Is comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Has strong attention to detail and enjoys accurate recordkeeping
  • Can manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Has an Associate's Degree (preferred) and/or prior human services, housing, or administrative experience

Occupancy Specialist Certification is required within one year of hire (training provided).
