Description:
  • DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTION
    • Perform extensive cleaning duties throughout the Nutrition and Food Services Department in accordance with Serve Safe requirements and DPH Food Code regulations. Work independently to manage cleaning needs of the department after usual operation hours. Perform minor repairs, moves, transport of soiled equipment, and work in compliance with all safety and other regulations while delivering services to assigned area.
  • POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)
    • Experience:
      • 1-3 months of on the job training under the direction of a Supervisor, proven ability to perform duties and tasks in accordance with established standards
    • Education and Training:
      • The ability to read and write English, ability to communicate effectively.
        Ability to use communication devices such as telephones, pagers, etc.
    • License, Certification & Registration:
      • ServeSafe Certification preferred.
    • Other Requirements:
      • Ability to follow instructions and work independently without reminders.
        Willingness to complete assignments with a high level of quality and consideration of patients, staff and visitors.
        Ability to receive criticism professionally.
