Description:

We are a small team supporting a large and active professional membership. We're looking for someone who enjoys variety, likes solving problems, and can keep a lot of moving pieces organized without losing their sense of humor.

One minute you might be helping someone troubleshoot a tech issue, the next you're assisting with an event, updating a database, answering questions, preparing for a meeting, using AI to help with minutes, or helping a member find the information they need to get through their day. No two days are exactly alike.

The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, professional, and comfortable learning new technology. You don't need to know every software platform we use (you won’t, trust me), but you should have a solid foundation in Microsoft Office, the internet and maintaining an online file system. Must enjoy learning and be willing to tackle new challenges as they arise in a business that is always changing.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone with a positive attitude. Skills can be taught, but curiosity, reliability, kindness, and initiative are especially valued. We work hard, but we also enjoy our day, support one another, and genuinely like and laugh with the people we work with.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Member and customer communication
  • Scheduling and calendar coordination
  • Billing and database management
  • Event and meeting support
  • Document preparation and organization
  • CRM and office software management
  • General office operations and problem-solving
  • Learning new systems and helping others navigate them

The ideal candidate:

  • Learns new technology quickly
  • Communicates clearly in writing and in person
  • Is comfortable juggling multiple priorities
  • Enjoys helping people, takes initiative
  • Pays attention to details without losing sight of the bigger picture
  • Can work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
  • Is trustworthy and dependable.

If you're the type of person who likes variety, enjoys learning new things, and takes pride in helping a small organization accomplish big things, we'd love to hear from you.
