As a Systems Engineer on RSP, you'll be part of a cross-functional engineering team delivering hardware, software and systems solutions. This Systems Engineer role may focus on one or more of the following areas: - Test & Integration Engineering: hardware/software validation, verification, and performance testing
- Requirements Engineering: documenting, analyzing, and managing system requirements
- Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE): system modeling, simulations, and design analysis
- Hardware-Systems Engineering: design, integration, and troubleshooting of hardware systems
Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Agile experience preferred.
- 2+ years of professional experience in Systems Engineering, including Test & Integration, Requirements Analysis, Model Based Systems Engineering or Hardware Systems work (Master's degree plus 6 months of relevant experience).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
- Experience in Systems Engineering, including Test & Integration, Requirements, MBSE, or Hardware-Systems.
- Knowledge of systems design, MBSE modeling, and simulation.
- Familiarity with requirements management tools (DOORS, Cameo, or similar).
- Experience with defense, aerospace, or mission-critical systems.
Key Responsibilities - Execute systems engineering activities in Test & Integration, Requirements, MBSE, or Hardware-Systems, depending on focus area.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure system performance, reliability, and compliance.
- Document, review, and manage system requirements using requirements management tools and MBSE.
- Participate in design reviews, verification, and validation activities.
