Job Summary: The CNC Operator is responsible for operating state-of-the-art CNC machinery including laser cutting systems and/or hydraulic press brakes to produce high-precision steel and armor plate components. This role requires a high degree of precision and a deep understanding of how heavy-gauge steel behaves during the cutting and bending processes. What You’ll Do: Operate Trumpf CNC laser cutting equipment and/or hydraulic press brakes to process armor plate Set up machinery and select proper tooling or dies based on metal thickness and specifications Review blueprints and CAD drawings to ensure high-tolerance accuracy and fitment Interpret bend sequences and dimensions from engineering drawings Verify part accuracy using calipers, protractors, squares, and other precision tools Load and unload heavy materials safely using overhead cranes and forklifts Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to keep equipment running Ensure all finished parts meet strict quality control and OSHA safety standards What We’re Looking For: 2+ years of experience operating CNC laser cutting machines and/or hydraulic press brakes Experience with Trump CNC equipment is a plus Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and engineering drawings Strong basic math skills and high attention to detail Experience with material handling equipment (overhead cranes/forklifts) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of a shift Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment Why Work at Lenco: Stable, full-time manufacturing work with consistent hours Competitive hourly pay with overtime opportunities Purpose-driven products that protect first responders and military personnel Modern facility with specialized equipment Long-term career growth within a growing U.S. manufacturer
