| Manager of Facilities Strategies & Performance Full-Time | Salary: $65,000–$75,000 (based on experience) We are seeking an analytical, strategic, and collaborative Manager of Facilities Strategies & Performance to support the fiscal strength and long-term sustainability of a diverse property portfolio. This role plays a critical part in aligning facilities performance with financial outcomes through data analytics, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. The Manager works closely with Facilities leadership, Finance, and Asset Management to develop tools, policies, and insights that improve operational efficiency, control costs, and support informed decision-making. This position reports to the Director of Real Estate Operations and works in partnership with the Director of Facilities Operations, CFO, and Property Financial Controller. Key ResponsibilitiesFacilities Performance & Analytics -
Track facilities performance related to work orders, unit turnovers, and operational outcomes, including goal comparisons and trend analysis -
Develop tools and dashboards to measure the impact of facilities performance on the fiscal health of properties -
Maintain a portfolio-wide tracking system for inspections, CNA reports, and capital needs, updating data as projects are completed and scopes evolve Financial Strategy & Asset Management -
Collaborate with the CFO to determine and monitor maintenance costs for individual property budgets -
Work closely with the Property Financial Controller to assess fiscal health and prepare watch list reports with recommendations for corrective actions -
Evaluate cost efficiency and effectiveness of site-based staff versus external vendors (e.g., landscaping, cleaning, snow removal) Procurement, Policies & Risk Management -
Review procurement processes and policies to improve efficiency and achieve cost savings -
Review maintenance subcontractor agreements for cost control and legal risk -
Develop protocols for routine purchases and establish systems to track maintenance inventory, tools, and supplies Operational Strategy & Collaboration -
Advise and support Facilities leadership in developing consistent policies and procedures for routine, emergent, and strategic operations -
Plan and facilitate regular Asset Management Team meetings and actively serve as a member of the team -
Ensure completion of all required third-party Capital Needs Assessments (CNAs) to meet regulatory obligations Work Environment & Physical Requirements -
Office-based, stationary work environment -
Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally -
Frequent repetitive motion involving wrists, hands, and fingers -
Close visual acuity required for computer and device use -
Ability to operate standard office equipment -
Ability to walk short distances as needed Qualifications (Preferred) -
Experience in facilities management, asset management, property operations, or financial analysis -
Strong analytical and data management skills, including spreadsheet development and performance tracking -
Knowledge of vendor management, procurement, and contract review -
Ability to collaborate effectively across facilities, finance, and leadership teams -
