PC Deployment Technician
Location: Berkshire County and surrounding areas
Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift
Pay Range: $20–$24/hour (based on experience)
Assignment Type: Temporary, Indefinite Duration

About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused PC Deployment Technician to assist with the rollout of new hardware at area businesses. This role involves traveling to multiple client sites daily to set up and configure PCs, install software, map printers and network drives, and ensure smooth transitions for end users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy new computers, peripherals, and related hardware to client locations

  • Install and configure operating systems, applications, and updates

  • Map network drives, printers, and shared resources

  • Perform data transfers and basic troubleshooting as needed

  • Ensure all systems are properly connected and functional prior to completion

  • Maintain accurate deployment records and report daily progress

  • Provide friendly, professional, and efficient support to end users during installations

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in IT support, hardware deployment, or desktop setup preferred

  • Working knowledge of Windows environments, networking basics, and peripheral setup

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel between worksites daily

  • Ability to lift and move computer equipment as needed

  • Must be able to pass a background screen if selected
