The Medical Assistant Trainee is part of a CHP sanctioned learning program to become a Certified Medical Assistant. Under the direction of the CMA Preceptor, a trainee meets all the obligations of the learning program within a specified training period, including attendance, timely on-line learning, as well as in-office training. Training includes developing the skills necessary to collaborate with and assist patients, medical assistants, physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and licensed practical nurses in executing CHP’s mission and vision. The desired candidate has a pleasant and welcoming personality and is willing to travel to CHP’s various locations in Berkshire County, if needed.
