J.H. Maxymillian, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Field Supervisor to oversee and manage all aspects of civil construction projects for a large, well- established civil construction firm. Construction sites vary in size and are located throughout western Massachusetts. Projects include road work, bridge work, site work and other forms of outdoor heavy civil construction. The qualified candidate will be a motivated team player with effective communication skills, and demonstrated experience with supervising construction crews and subcontractors to ensure that work is conducted safely, productively, and according to project specifications. Specific Responsibilities Include: - Manage all on-site operations, and direct site work force and subcontractors;
- Communicate daily with senior management and supporting departments (i.e. Dispatch, Purchasing) regarding job progress, material deliveries, staffing and equipment needs;
- Review plans, specifications, and contract requirements;
- Plan work flow in advance of on-site operations to maintain safety and efficiency;
- Manage project safety requirements;
- Administer project reporting requirements.
