Description: | Adult Companion Job Type: Part or Full Time Hours available Schedule: 5-8 hour shifts available, weekdays only Location: Adams, MA 01247 $750 Sign On Bonus Adult Companion Responsibilities: As an Adult Companion, you will provide non-medical care to a functionally disabled senior who lives inAdams, MA. The goal of this role is to help members stay safely in their home. You will help with mealpreparation, light housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping and other daily living activities. This service isprovided in accordance with a therapeutic goal in the service plan. This particular UCP member has awonderful personality, enjoys baking and knitting and spending time with their grandchild.

Requirements: | Adult Companion Qualifications: - Must be at least 18 years of age
- A high school diploma, or have life or work experience with individuals with disabilities and/or seniors
- Awareness of diabetic skin care needs
- Detail oriented and observant
- Appropriate communication skills to effectively communicate with member, caregiver and otherstakeholders
- Be able to handle emergency situations
- Understanding of the importance of supporting the dignity and human rights of all members
- Have certification in CPR/First Aid or ability to be certified
- Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, availability of private vehicle, up-to-date car insurance
- CORI, SORI, DPPC and National Fingerprint Check
- A negative Mantoux TB test or a clear chest x-ray
