The Department of Biology seeks applications for a part-time faculty member to teach as part of the biology department. Some of the course offerings may include but are not limited to, the topics of Lifetime Wellness, Bioinformatics, or Topics in an applicant's area of expertise. This adjunct position would be for one semester, with an opportunity for renewal. The instructor must have a background in the requested Biology course that is needed.
The courses schedule will be: To be determined status or TBD.
Examples of Duties:
- Deliver instruction appropriate to the topic, course description, agreed-upon learning outcomes, academic level and student audience.
- Submit syllabi, grades and other reports on time.
- Communicate effectively with students and faculty in the department.
- Provide assistance to students by appointment.
Job Requirements:
- Experience commensurate with course topics.
- Master's degree or higher in a related field is strongly preferred.
- Previous teaching experience at the college level is strongly preferred.
