Job Requirements:  Carries out all the responsibilities of an academic tutor and assists the student in the development of learning skills in a variety of academic areas as well as reinforces the student’s ability in necessary subject-specific basic skills; Observes, monitor and assess the student’s performance often and records data to track the performance;  Prepares instructional activities that aid in mastering specific academic skills, including subject matter content, state mandated and end of course assessments.  Assist student in setting and reaching individualized academic goals and operates as a mentor to the student in scholastic pursuits; enforces school/district policies and rules governing students as related to behavior management; Maintains confidentiality of student information as required by law and district policies; Communication required such as receiving instructions and collaborating with team members and building/school administration.
