Description:
  • DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTION
      • Responsible for leading system change management process in accordance with the Finance polices through diligent reviews of business processes, system change requests/improvements of critical financial processes in Axiom Software and other key applications within Finance.

      • The Manager will lead the review of all change requests, testing plans, and overseeing compliance and adherence to established change management process for all financial system updates, implementations, or projects.

      • Additional areas of responsibilities include contribution to finance policy development, particularly those with system reliance or impact; supporting the business in day-to-day operations of system/data processes, developing interface and application controls for various areas within Finance; and evaluating automation and efficiency initiatives that may have an enterprise and/or application impact.

      • The Manager will assess the  strengths, weaknesses, and risks of the business process ,internally within the Finance department and enterprise-wide for specific initiatives including the development of controls, test plans and full-cycle change management and documentation.

      • Experience with Axiom databases as well as security and the principles of segregation of duties is desirable, particularly when working with business partners and stakeholders on customized solutions and business processes executed within technology.


  • POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)
    • Experience:
      • 8 + years related work experience with at least 3+ in supervisory role
      • Previous experience in supervisory role in financial analytics/reporting, auditing and compliance or system development within an Axiom environment is preferred.
      • Healthcare industry experience preferred.
    • Education and Training:
      • BA/BS Degree in Business subject or information systems/technology required
      • Master’s Degree in Finance or Business Administration preferred.
    • License, Certification & Registration:
      • None.
    • Other Requirements:
      • Demonstrated leadership ability.
      • Aptitude for data analysis; demonstrates ability to independently research, synthesize, and communicate.
      • Experience training a team to utilize new technology. Motivating the team to remain focused on continuous improvement is essential.
      • Interest in working with financial and operational systems
      • Excellent communication skills.
      • Proficient with spreadsheet applications.
      • Energetic, self-starter, innovative and creative.
