Working successfully within a team, the Senior Test Engineer will execute the test approach and document system verification throughout the engineering development lifecycle. This will entail assisting in the following areas:

• Generation, proofing and execution of system test work products by applying the appropriate         standards, processes, procedures and tools
• Development of test and diagnostic programs and completes specifications and procedures
• Perform and support troubleshooting of functional, environmental, operational, and/or                     performance tests on hardware, software, and systems
• Supporting partners in the construction and test of the Columbia Class System
• May require travel to Quonset Point, RI, Pittsfield, MA and Cape Canaveral, FL to support training     and tasking efforts

What you bring to the table:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree
  • Solid knowledge in use and understanding of test engineering concepts, principles, and theories
  • Solid knowledge and experience with object-oriented programming, system processes and scripting languages
  • Openly proposes ideas that enhance productivity and efficiency, solicits input, and optimizes solutions

Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience or a Master's degree.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
