Company Description:Berkshire County Arc is a non-profit human service agency that has been providing community-based services to adults with developmental disabilities and/or brain injuries for over 50 yrs. Berkshire County Arc’s mission is to assist and support individuals in their quest to identify and realize their chosen lifestyles. This is accomplished through various programs offered: residential homes including independent apartments, employment services, day programs, adult family care, transitions, advocacy & family support, special needs pooled trusts and a mail-house staffed by people with disabilities that serves dozens of businesses across Western Massachusetts.
Berkshire County Arc’s programs are offered in Berkshire County and Pioneer Valley. We serve nearly 1,000 individuals per year and have over 700 dedicated staff.

Description: | $500 Sign On Mon-Fri Day Hrs 40 hrs/wk Under the direction of the Director of Employment Services, the Administrative Assistant will be responsible for the handling of details of a confidential nature and perform administrative functions for the employment services program. This position will perform diversified administrative duties for the Director, Assistant Director, Employment Services managers, and, at times, Employment Services staff as assigned by the director or designee. Duties include, but not limited to: typing correspondence, filing, coping, faxing, billing, and processing/tracking program paperwork. Responsibilities: - Assist in typing and/or entering information into BCarc and state data bases (I Centrix and HCSIS) as it relates to required forms/paperwork.
- Assist in developing and utilizing excel spreadsheets for program
- Assist in processing billing for all contracts as scheduled.
