Description:

The Town of Lee, MA (pop.5788) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Town Planner. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position. Applicants must possess the advanced knowledge, skills, ability, and progressive experience necessary to serve as the town’s’ first full-time Town Planner. The ideal candidate will have excellent community planning experience as demonstrated by relevant prior work, grant writing and grant management skills, communication skills including public service orientation. Management, labor relations and financial skills are also assets. The salary is negotiable to a maximum of $80,000 annually with full benefits including health/life insurance, pension, paid vacation, sick & personal leave.

Requirements:

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in community planning or a related discipline and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience or a master’s degree and two (2) years of experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
