Description: | Human Resources Coordinator Job Type: Full Time Schedule: 40 hours/wk; M-F Location: North Adams, MA 01247 Sign On Bonus $1500
UCP is a growing non-profit human services organization with two offices in the Berkshires and 130 employees . You are part of a department of two (reporting to the HR Director) and therefore you will need to be customer-service focused, resourceful, flexible, and hands-on. The goal of the HR Coordinator role is to help provide UCP employees the support and resources they need to be successful at work so we can help individuals with disabilities live life without limits.
Human Resources Coordinator Responsibilities Your day to day work will include administrative duties in the following areas: - Recruitment and onboarding
- Maintaining employee records
- Compliance
- Agency communications
- Provide HR support to employees, managers, and directors
- In addition, you will participate in projects that will help achieve HR goals for the organization.

Requirements: | Human Resources Coordinator Requirements High school diploma or equivalent, aPHR certification, and one year of human resources (employee relations, HRIS, or recruiting) experience, or a commensurate combination of education, certification and experience. Proficiency in a Windows based environment, with the ability to send and receive emails, update Excel spreadsheets, create letters and mail merges, make PowerPoint slide and utilize Sharepoint/One Drive. Excellent written and verbal communications skills to relate to individuals at all levels of the organization. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and utmost professionalism. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Ability to work flexible hours on an occasional basis to meet the needs of management and staff Must be primarily able to work in an office setting in North Adams, Massachusetts with occasional offsite meetings and travel to job fairs which require the ability to drive. A satisfactory pre-employment background check (CORI, SORI and professional references). |
