Certified Respiratory Therapist – Full Time - Day Shift & Night Shift Responsibilities and Requirements Primary Function Work with the ICU/CCU/ED/MED/SURG personnel to provide responsive state of the art respiratory care Work with the same personnel in the development and implementation of patient centered care Work in a cooperative and supportive manner with Physicians, Staff, and Directors of the ICU/CCU/ED/MED/SURG Units and Respiratory Therapy to achieve that goal Position Qualifications Experience Six months Staff Therapist experience preferred but not required Education and Training Graduate of AMA approved program of Respiratory Therapy at the Certification level On a yearly basis meet all hospital mandatory education requirements License, Certification & Registration MARTL - MA Respiratory Therapist license NBRC-CRT-National Board Respiratory Care CRT CPR Other Requirements Highly effective and positive interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal Effective problem solving, team building skills, willingness to participate in the education process both as a student and provider of education Ability to vary shift hours and days to meet schedule needs Benefits Berkshire Health Systems offers one of the most comprehensive Benefit Plans you can find!
