The Day Services Relief position is responsible for providing direct care relief in Day Habilitation, Community Based Day, or Employment services depending on the need each day. This position is a direct service role that assists individuals with developmental disabilities with skills training including independent living skills, communication, behavior, and affective development; sensory-motor, social development, and self-help as prescribed in each member’s Day Habilitation Service Plan or Individual Service Plan dependent on the assigned location. |
Min of 18 years of age. High School Diploma/GED must possess basic math (addition/subtraction) skills, ability to read & write, communicate effectively both verbally and written, ability to multi-task and exercise good judgement. Ability to complete all initial and ongoing background checks including but not limited to: CORI, SORI, Fingerprinting, LEIE, Driving record, E-verify, Physical, PPD and licensing and/or certification checks (i.e., nursing). Valid US driver’s license and ready access to a vehicle. |
