Description:
<p>The Employment and Training Coordinator is responsible for fostering the growth of vocational skills and finding competitive employment opportunities for individuals referred by MRC.&nbsp; This is accomplished by providing supports through vocational evaluations, skills trainings, initial employment supports, and job development and placement services.&nbsp; This person may also be responsible for providing supports to students in the Pre-ETS program by offering work readiness instruction, career exploration opportunities, self-advocacy training, post-secondary counseling, and work-based learning experiences in the form of an internship.&nbsp; This person must develop and maintain relationships with employers to enhance internship and employment opportunities in the community.&nbsp;</p>
Requirements:
<p>Associate degree with 2 years&rsquo; experience working with individuals with disabilities or High school diploma/GED with 4 years&rsquo; experience working with individuals with disabilities.&nbsp; Must be able to communicate efficiently both orally and written. &nbsp;Ability to complete all initial and ongoing background checks including but not limited to: CORI, SORI, Fingerprinting, LEIE, Driving record, E-verify, and licensing and/or certification checks (i.e., nursing).&nbsp; Valid US driver&rsquo;s license and ready access to a vehicle.</p>
