Description:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

· Receive materials into stock and verify quantities, part numbers and documentation accuracy

·Pack and prepare (box, palatalize, package and load) items for shipment

·Respond to co-worker’s requests for parts and supplies in a timely manner

·Work with production and purchasing to ensure inventory is at satisfactory levels

·Submit purchases requests to the purchasing department

·Maintain all department equipment

·Process daily paperwork and work order logs

·Issue parts and supplies to coworkers

·Prepare bills of laden for vendor shipments and deliveries

·Review work orders and prepare kits for production departments

·Organize, store and manage stock located in the stockroom as well as on the production floor

·Complete all documentation including inspection sheets, certificates and receipts applying signatures as appropriate

·Undertake relevant training and development as required

·Carry out requisitions within a realistic timeline ensuring that deadlines are met

Requirements:

EXPERIENCE:

·Minimum of three (3) years’ inventory control experience

EDUCATION:

·High school diploma or GED equivalent

CERTIFICATIONS:

·Forklift certified preferred

·Valid driver’s license required
