Company Description:Berkshire County Arc is a non-profit human service agency that has been providing community-based services to adults with developmental disabilities and/or brain injuries for over 50 yrs. Berkshire County Arc’s mission is to assist and support individuals in their quest to identify and realize their chosen lifestyles. This is accomplished through various programs offered: residential homes including independent apartments, employment services, day programs, adult family care, transitions, advocacy & family support, special needs pooled trusts and a mail-house staffed by people with disabilities that serves dozens of businesses across Western Massachusetts.
Berkshire County Arc’s programs are offered in Berkshire County and Pioneer Valley. We serve nearly 1,000 individuals per year and have over 700 dedicated staff.

Description: | $1,000 Sign On BCArc is looking for a dynamic behavior-minded person to join our clinical team! We provide individualized training to support the right person in this role! Many of our staff have gone on to be supervisors, BCBA’s and Psychologists! Our work emphasizes helping adults with disabilities reach their desired potential! Professional development, Tuition Reimbursement, and additional training opportunities included in comprehensive benefit package. Responsibilities include: - Consulting with individuals, families, and program staff to identify barriers to a person’s achieving their goals.
- Conduct individualized trainings for program staff in residential and day programs.
- Conduct program observations, assessments and trainings in residential and day programs that assists individuals in reducing maladaptive behavior.
- Design, implement and monitor behavior data.
- Collaborate with outside agencies, systems and teams to support individual behavioral needs.

Requirements: | - Bachelor’s degree in related field. Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Education/Special Education encouraged to apply.
- Extensive behavioral knowledge, 3 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities and/or brain injuries
- Must have a valid driver’s license and insured vehicle.
