Description:

Our client, a well-established local CPA firm is seeking a motivated and professional individual to join its administrative team. This role offers the opportunity to support client services, coordinate projects, and provide day-to-day administrative assistance to a team of accounting professionals. This is a temp to hire opportunity with an anticipated pay rate of $23-$25/HR to start. 

The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced office environment. Strong communication skills, professionalism, and a commitment to excellent client service are essential.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update client and internal databases
  • Prepare billing, statements, reports, and other business documents
  • Coordinate client projects by tracking deadlines, gathering information, and assisting with project workflow
  • Perform general administrative duties including filing, scanning, copying, document preparation, and record maintenance
  • Manage office supply inventory and place orders as needed
  • Assist with office equipment coordination and general office operations
  • Answer incoming calls, greet clients, and schedule appointments
  • Coordinate staff meetings, training sessions, and calendars
  • Provide bookkeeping support using QuickBooks
  • Support professional staff with special projects and administrative needs
Qualifications
  • Associate degree preferred; equivalent education and experience will be considered
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and QuickBooks
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently while contributing as part of a team
  • Willingness to work additional hours during the firm's busy tax season (January through April)
