Established and busy pediatric office is seeking a Business Administrator with strong human resource experience, great interpersonal skills, some financial experience, and organizational skills. Responsibilities for this position include oversight of the human resource aspects of the day-to-day operations for an office with 20+ staff members. This requires handling HR duties such as staff reviews, hiring campaigns, insurance requirements, and staff relations. The administrator will also handle certain financial responsibilities such as paying vendor bills, balancing bank statements, entering daily deposits, and reporting this information to management. This individual must be able to work independently and possess strong interpersonal and computer skills, and knowledge of QuickBooks is preferred.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration from an accredited college or university. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR generalist role with demonstrated knowledge of applicable state and federal laws, regulations, and policies related to human resources management is preferred.
Additional requirements include:
• Knowledge of HR rules and regulations and the ability to work with outside vendors to implement these.
• Ability to work with vendors for health insurance, LTD, workman’s comp, medical malpractice, etc.
• Ability to use financial software for daily deposits, paying bills, balancing bank statements, and journal entries.
• Ability to work with the Practice Manager and Partners to evaluate, develop, and implement human resource policies and to monitor and analyze financial data.
