Company Description: Berkshire County Arc is a non-profit human service agency that has been providing community-based services to adults with developmental disabilities and/or brain injuries for over 50 yrs. Berkshire County Arc’s mission is to assist and support individuals in their quest to identify and realize their chosen lifestyles. This is accomplished through various programs offered: residential homes including independent apartments, employment services, day programs, adult family care, transitions, advocacy & family support, special needs pooled trusts and a mail-house staffed by people with disabilities that serves dozens of businesses across Western Massachusetts.
Berkshire County Arc’s programs are offered in Berkshire County and Pioneer Valley. We serve nearly 1,000 individuals per year and have over 700 dedicated staff.

We are seeking someone with great organizational skills who can handle responsibility, has excellent attention to detail, a positive, professional demeanor, can work under pressure, and deal effectively with people on a daily basis to join our fantastic team! A varied background with experience in all aspects of HR is desired. Responsibilities include but aren’t limited to: Recruiting qualified candidates by coordinating, implementing, tracking, and documenting agency recruitment and onboarding strategies that are in alignment with Berkshire County Arc’s business needs and compliant with Federal, State and Local employment laws. Coordinate overall Hiring and Onboarding activity for the Agency.

Qualifications: 1+ years’ experience in Human Resources preferably in a human service agency. Associate’s Degree preferred. Microsoft Office skills needed. Organizational skills and a strong work ethic desired. Experience with HRIS system-Complete Payroll Solutions a plus
One+ year experience in Human Resources ideal preferably in human service agency.
Associate’s Degree preferred. Bachelor’s degree a plus.
Valid drivers license
Excellent communication skills
Good computer skills
