Assists VP, Branch Training Officer with training functions to ensure consistent delivery of learning solutions throughout the branch network. Also provides support and assistance on the maintenance and administrative functions of the Bank’s branch network training program. Maintains comprehensive knowledge of pertinent regulations and internal policies and procedures.
Assists with the development, implementation and facilitation of training programs to support retail banking initiatives. Performs administrative requirements for all trainings, follow up and tracking. Books training locations, schedules all participants, and assists in the facilitation of various training programs. Ensures all training support materials are ordered, assembled, and delivered to the appropriate training locations. Prepares and provides pre or post materials to participants.
Assists with evaluation of the effectiveness of training programs through various methods such as contact with direct supervisors of participants to assess behavioral changes based on information obtained in training, data collection, and job shadowing as outlined by the VP, Branch Training Officer.
Maintains and assists in the development of training materials, course and workshop presentations to support ongoing initiatives and training programs necessary to successfully integrate new employees in the branch network. Ensures training documentation is maintained for regulatory compliance. Assists with branch training for special projects and campaigns. Assists VP, Branch Training Officer and participates on project team for acquisitions and mergers.
Maintains comprehensive knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to banking and financial transactions, as well as Berkshire Bank policies and procedures.
Ensures compliance with all banking laws, rules, regulations, and prescribed policies/practices/procedures necessary to reduce risk and uphold ethical standards related to and required by one’s duties.
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
Minimum 5 years in retail banking in various areas
1 to 3 years' training experience
Sales experience with demonstrated results
Skills & Knowledge:

Self-motivated; able to work independently
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Computer skills in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and Power Point
