Sanitation Technician

Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm

Qualifications: 

• High school diploma or equivalent. 
• Previous sanitation experience preferred 
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed 
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills 

Responsibilities: 

The sanitation technician maintains and cleans the facility including but not limited to production areas, fill room, water processing areas, offices, bathrooms, and outside areas. Follows master sanitation schedule and documents activity. 

Essential Job Duties: 

• Must know and understand all job responsibilities and tasks to be performed by the sanitation staff. 
• Train current and new associates on all areas needing cleaning and procedures. 
• Corrects housekeeping issues on the spot and ensures working areas are maintained in a clean and healthful condition at all times. 
• Reports all emergencies, injuries, and production incidents immediately to shift supervisor. 

Non-Essential Job Duties: 

• Performs related work as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager. 
• In the absence of this employee, responsibilities will be covered by the direct manager or appointee. 

GMP & PPE Required 

While on the production floor in the plant you will be required to follow and help to enforce all GMP regulations in the plant. Anyone entering the production floor must follow the GMP rules in their employee handbook, which includes the required hairnets, beard nets, and earplugs. It is also required that all personnel wear safety glasses. Follows standard operating procedures including quality checks and procedures for all operations. Also follows HACCP and SQF requirements for food quality and safety.
