Williams College is pleased to announce an opening within Athletics for a Coordinator of Scheduling and Team Travel. This is a full time, year-round position reporting to the Associate Athletic Director for Finance and Budget.  The role of the Coordinator is to oversee athletic contest scheduling, travel plans, official hiring, and NCAA bid submissions in accordance with National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) and College guidelines.

Essential duties include:

  • Responsibility for overseeing and confirming all athletic competitions, 
  • Arranging for travel, lodging, and meals and processing payments for officiating services and all team travel expenses. 
  • Distributing meal money in accordance with meal arrangements and department policies. 
  • Responsible for hiring of game officials and select game management personnel, including all communication and payment. 


  • At least two years of relevant work experience and training are required
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills and attention to detail are essential 
  • Experience with booking and communicating group travel arrangements are strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with software programs such as Excel, Word, Google Suite, and Peoplesoft financials are necessary. 
  • Ability to work with others in a collaborative environment; 
  • Ability to make decisions and work independently is essential.  

Application review will begin on August 2, 2022, and will continue on a rolling basis thereafter. Pay range is from $20 to $24 per hour, commensurate with experience. With our current remote and flexible working policy this position is eligible to work one day per week from home in MA, CT, VT, or NY; subject to approval. Job band 19.  Please visit to apply.
