Williams College seeks a Project Coordinator to support a multi-year project implementing the Workday Student information system. This project aims to better support the people and processes essential to the academic and administrative functions of the College through improved process design, user interface, access to data, and information security. The Project Coordinator is a critical part of the Workday project team committed to collaboration, transparency, and engagement with stakeholders across the college. The successful candidate will be solutions-oriented, organized, energetic, independent, and tech-savvy with a collaborative spirit. The position is a full-time term position for the project's duration with an initial three-year term. This role is eligible to work remotely up to two days per week from locations in MA, CT, NY, or VT - after the initial training period & subject to review and revision as policy evolves.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Project and Change Management, you will work closely with the entire project team, providing project and change management support for the Workday Student implementation. This is a fast-paced and people-focused project where you will regularly engage with a wide variety of stakeholders to keep the project on track. As Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for administrative tasks such as scheduling project meetings, keeping detailed meeting notes, assigning deliverables, monitoring due dates and the completion of tasks by the project team. In this role, you will also be an important part of the change management team, assisting in organizing and communicating project details within the project team and the broader Williams community.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years relevant experience or equivalent education plus experience
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining collaborative relationships
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Documentation management and ability to use project management tools
  • Attention to detail even under pressure
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (ie: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and Google Workspace products
  • Experience in higher education or project management is desirable


Application review will begin on December 16, 2024, and will continue on a rolling basis thereafter. Pay range is from $25 to $29 per hour, commensurate with experience.
