Opening Details

The College seeks applications for a per diem Athletic Trainer. The per diem Athletic Trainer will work directly with the full-time Sports Medicine staff to provide medical services for student-athletes participating in a broad-based Division III athletic program including 32 Varsity teams and Club Sport activities. Hours and schedule will vary based on the needs of the department. This position is used to assist in the overflow coverage of the full-time Sports Medicine staff. Services for the per diem Athletic Trainer will consist athletic training room coverage as well as practice and event coverage with emphasis on immediate medical care.

Qualifications

Candidates must be certified by the National Athletic Trainers' Association and be eligible for Massachusetts State Licensure; a Bachelor's degree is required. Coverage will mainly consist of early afternoon, evening, and weekend events. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to interact effectively with both the athletic department staff and student-athletes.
