POSITION DESCRIPTION:   BFAIR is looking for an experienced HR Generalist to oversee many facets of the HR departments day to day operations.  This mid-level HR position is responsible for all staffing changes, oversight and implementation of our benefits program, all leave administration, initial unemployment claims, worker’s compensation and OSHA compliance and oversight of our HRIS system.  The ideal candidate will possess a wide scope of knowledge in HR practices, MA and Federal laws.  BA and PHR certification preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree and 1 year administrative experience, preferably in Human Resources required. A high school diploma or GED and 5 years’ of related experience may be substituted. Must be customer service oriented, extremely organized, detail oriented with the ability to successfully multitask. Ability to complete all initial and ongoing background checks including but not limited to: CORI, SORI, Fingerprinting, LEIE, Driving record, E-verify, Physical, PPD and licensing and/or certification checks (i.e. nursing). Valid US driver’s license and ready access to a vehicle.
