Position Summary:

The Housekeeping Supervisor is a full-time seasonal position responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations at the Country Inn. This role ensures that all rooms and public areas meet Jiminy Peak’s high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The Supervisor provides leadership and direction to the housekeeping team, coordinates daily assignments, and maintains effective communication with other departments to support smooth operations and an exceptional guest experience.

Reports to: Housekeeping Manager

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct housekeeping staff to ensure all tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and to company standards.
  • Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching to support performance and consistency.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, owner units, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met.
  • Communicate daily with the Front Desk and Owners Department to ensure rooms are ready for arrivals and special requests are handled promptly.
  • Respond to guest and owner feedback, addressing any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Review guest survey results and take corrective action where needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of room assignments, inspections, and inventory of keys, supplies, and equipment.
  • Promote a positive and team-oriented work environment focused on service excellence and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • 2–3 years of experience in the hotel or hospitality industry required; prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Friendly, professional, and customer service–oriented demeanor.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
